भारत के तीन पत्रकारों – दार यासीन, मुख्तार खान और चन्नी आनंद को 2020 के पुलित्जर पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। इन पत्रकारों ने फीचर फोटोग्राफी के क्षेत्र में पुरस्कार जीता है। तीनों पत्रकार एसोसिएटेड प्रेस के हैं। उन्हें लॉकडाउन कवरेज के लिए सम्मानित किया गया है।
द पुलित्जर ने घोषणा की है कि भारतीय पत्रकारों को कश्मीर के चुनाव वाले क्षेत्र के लिए सम्मानित किया गया है क्योंकि, भारत ने इसकी स्वतंत्रता को रद्द कर दिया था, जिसे कम्युनिकेशन ब्लैकआउट के माध्यम से निष्पादित (execute) किया गया था। पुलित्जर पुरस्कार को संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के पत्रकारों और संगठनों द्वारा प्राप्त किया जाने वाला सर्वोच्च सम्मान माना जाता है।
